We had a great experience with this skilled nursing facility. Christina, the clinical liaison, was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. She guided us step by step, answered all our questions, and made a stressful transition much easier. The staff was caring, and the facility was clean and well-run. We're very grateful for Christina's support and highly recommend this place.
My mom had 4 wonderful years in Independent living with wonderful food and great activities and parties. When the time came for a higher level of care, I was so relieved that it was such a smooth transition, and her friends were close by. I would recommend choosing the Laural Parke because it has all levels of care. It really matters.
The staff is taking wonderful care of all of us! Good food, cheerful workers many of whom stay on the premises 24 hours a day, impromptu fun activities, and residents who help each other at every opportunity. I have lived here 12 years and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
Great food, service, residence, staff, and facilities. Maintenance staff are very responsive, cleaning weekly, replacing filters and light bulbs, rotating mattresses, and repairing appliances, all on short request time. Residents are friendly and interesting. The medical care was just rated #1 in Texas. We love it here!
My experience is specific to the memory care unit - my mother lived there for the entirety of her illness and recently passed. While no facility is perfect, the staff in the memory care unit truly care and do their best for the residents. The memory patients are always out of their rooms during the day, there's lots of activities, and the outdoor area is safe and beautiful (and huge!) and available to the residents at their desire. I would recommend to anyone looking for a safe and pleasant memory care experience.
Laural Parke took excellent care of a family member after some major surgery. The staff and administration are truly caring! I would recommend anyone to Laural Parke if they or a loved one need skilled nursing or any other long-term care.
